The sultry red rock landscapes of Arches National Park are among the most dramatic in the country. Flamboyant geological formations cast stunning silhouettes against brilliant skies, making this one of the most photographed national parks in the United States.

The park boasts over 2,000 stone arches including the world-renowned Delicate Arch, perched at the brink of a deep canyon, which is a favorite spot for gazing at the sunset. The 306-foot-long Landscape Arch is one of the longest arch formations in the world, whilst other significant highlights include the Windows section, Fiery Furnace and Courthouse Towers.

The park road brings many of Arches' highlights within easy reach but it is recommended to take some short walks to see the park's most dramatic sights at closer range.
