This excursion will allow you to experience Selvatura Park from a unique perspective, with time to explore the varied flora and fauna of this cloudforest conservation project.
Your guide will show you around the park where you will have the opportunity to undertake a canopy tour traversing cables and zip-lines through the cloudforest. The canopy tour consists of 15 cables and 18 platforms and takes approximately two and a half hours. You will be zipped through each of the cables while attached to safety harnesses and climbing gear. This is a thrilling way to experience the canopy offering incredible views and the chance to be at one with nature.
There will also be the opportunity to view the cloudforest from the treetop walkways with the advantage of being able to take your time to observe each of the forest levels. The walkways are 1.9 miles long and vary between 55 and 200 metres in height.

- The Butterfly Garden — One of the world’s largest live butterfly exhibitions consisting of over 50 different species of butterflies from all over Costa Rica.
- The Selvatura Education Centre — Here you will be able to learn about the unique cloudforest at Selvatura and see some of the things you may have missed. The world's largest private insect collection is also on display, property of the world-famous entomologist Dr Richard Whitten.
- The Hummingbird Garden — With more than 14 different species of hummingbird from the cloudforest providing some great photographic opportunities.
