Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Oslo. When you arrive in Oslo, your private driver will take you to your centrally located hotel. Later, embark on a walking tour of the city, passing by sites such as the Royal Palace and Aker Brygge Harbour while learning about its history from your private guide.

  • Head out of Oslo with your private driver-guide to visit the Oscarsborg Fortress. Located on two islands in the narrowest part of Oslofjord, the fortress was built in the 19th century and played a key role in defeating the German attack against Norway during World War II. After exploring the grounds and museum of the fortress, continue to nearby Drøbak, a town known for its wooden architecture and home to the house of the Norwegian Santa Claus, Julenissen.

  • This morning, you'll be taken to the station to board a train to Bergen. This route goes through the Norwegian mountains and fjords and is considered one of the most scenic in Europe.

  • Meet your private guide and embark on a walking tour of Bergen this morning. Visit the wharf-side fish market, where fresh seafood is sold daily. Explore hidden cobbled alleyways, brightly painted houses, and studios while you learn about Bergen's history and culture.

  • Collect your rental car today for your onward journey to Lofthus. On the way, you'll drive along the beautiful Hardangerfjord. The journey takes you past picturesque farmland and meadows, attractive villages, mountain lakes and cascading waterfalls as you traverse through deep valleys.

  • The Hardangerfjord region is known for its plethora of charming fjordside fruit orchards, whose blossom during spring and summer months creates a swathe of pink and white pastoral beauty cascading down the hillsides. During the course of today, you'll explore the region while learning about cider production in Hardangerfjord, meeting a cider farmer and, of course, tasting the local produce. After your time at the cider farm, you’ll board a sustainable catamaran for a sightseeing cruise on Hardangerfjord.

  • Today, you will head to the small town of Balestrand on the northern shore of the famous Sognefjord. You'll have the afternoon at leisure to visit one of the many art galleries in town or hike one of the variety of trails in the surrounding area.

  • Today, you'll head out onto Sognefjord for a private kayaking tour of this remarkable area. You’ll spend a few hours paddling amid the glorious landscape of dramatic, snow-topped mountains, picturesque wooden houses and forests and waterfalls which cascade down to the fjord shore.

  • Today, you will continue onward along the fjords to Loen. Make your way to the Loen Skylift base to board a cable car to bring you to the top of Mount Hove, where you can take in the panoramic views and grab a sunset cocktail. After exploring the mountain top, return to the base via cable car and make your way to your hotel in Loen.

  • Today, you will drive to the town of Ã…±ô±ð²õ³Ü²Ô»å, located on an island at the entrance to the Geirangerfjord. Embark on a walking tour of the city, learning about its fascinating history and Nordic-themed Art Nouveau architecture from your private guide.
