Hidden in a forested valley at the foot of Mount Olympos lies the small, rustic village of Çirali, nestled in between the mountains and a long stretch of beach.

Çirali itself comprises about three dusty roads amid the trees, lined by fruit stalls, ramshackle boutique shops and cafés. There are a number of excellent boutique properties scattered throughout the beachside forest, which provide a tranquil retreat, perfect for returning to after a day relaxing on the beach, walking in the mountains or exploring the coastline.

South of Çirali is the ancient Lycian city of Olympos, which dates back to the 2nd century BC, and nearby are the 'eternal flames' of Chimaera, produced by gas emissions from natural vents in the rock face. Both sites are within walking distance, or alternatively you can hire bikes from Çirali.

Endangered loggerhead turtles annually journey to Çirali to lay their eggs on the beach, and are protected by the local government.
