Lying approximately five kilometers from Punakha and up on the hillside with good views of the valley area, the property is owned and managed by the well-respected former Penlop (regional governor) of Punakha.
The rooms are simple but comfortable and spacious with clean and plain bathrooms. Many have balconies and there are lovely views down across the river, the valley and the farmhouses and paddy fields in the other direction. There is a large dining area, a covered outside lounge, and bar where you can relax after a day exploring the Punakha valley. Food is a combination of Bhutanese, Indian and Chinese and most meals are served as a buffet.
