Be collected from your accommodation and arrive at Mossman Gorge National Park, before the crowds arrive to experience nature displays of magnificent rainforest cascading down to the boulder strewn Mossman River. Continue onto Daintree, enjoying morning tea before a special hour spent viewing and understanding this wildlife environment, habitat of rare birds, unique plants, tree snakes and the estuarine crocodile. Awaiting at Alexandra Lookout are breathtaking views of the Daintree coast, Snapper Island and beyond to the Coral Sea.
A special treat is in store next, with a trip to Noah Valley where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. You can then join the infamous Bloomfield Track at Cape Tribulation and begin the 4x4 section of the journey, stopping to see a 250 year old giant fig tree, experience natural creek crossings and climb to the top of Donovan's Range for spectacular coastal scenery before descending to a magnificent isolated beach.
Stingray Bay and Cowie Beach are the next destinations, with its shallow bay, spectacular mountain backdrop and the unusual "Lone Soldier" mangrove. A chance then to walk on the world renowned Cape Tribulation rainforest beach and coastline and the fringing coral reef from Kulki Lookout before finally a special visit to the Daintree Ice Cream Company and enjoy an afternoon tea of unique homemade tropical ice-cream and a refreshing fruit drink. You will then cross the mighty Daintree River by cable ferry to head home after a truly unforgettable day.
