The most storied hotel in Vienna, Hotel Sacher gleams with opulence before you even walk in the door as you’re greeted by doormen in top hats and long burgundy jackets. Located across from the Vienna State Opera, the hotel plays regular host to celebrities and royalty alike. Hotel Sacher has five types of rooms, each more indulgent than the last, but all featuring unique crystal chandeliers, parquet flooring, traditionally patterned furniture and neutral tones.
If you need a day to relax from your exploration of Vienna, book a session at the day spa, which features four different chocolate treatments in addition to its more traditional offerings. Dine among the opera-goers at one of the hotel’s six restaurants and cafés or walk to one of the many nearby bars and restaurants.
Hotel Sacher also offers its guests 24-hour concierge service, a Petit Sacher package for children and even babysitting services. In addition to views of the opera house, you may also get a room with a view of another well-known landmark, such as the Albertina art gallery.
Between chandeliers in every room, warm and inviting common spaces, and unmatched service, Hotel Sacher’s elegance is unparalleled and is one of our preferred hotels in Vienna.
