Base of the Towers Guided Hike
Base of the Towers Guided Hike
This is one of the most iconic treks in Patagonia. The granite towers soar majestically thousands of metres into the air creating the centrepiece of the whole park.
Guests are transferred from their hotel to Lago Grey where you will enjoy a boat excursion to the stunning Glacier Grey.
Although it has been retreating for many years now it is the largest glacier in Torres del Paine National Park at around is six kilometres (four miles) wide and over 30 metres (100 ft) high. Perhaps the best and easiest way to view it is to travel by boat to its face where you might see calving taking place, when huge chunks of ice break off.
This excursion makes for a spectacular day out with ample opportunities for taking photographs before you are returned to your hotel.
These activities are designed to give you the most authentic experiences around where you're staying.
