Villa Dubrovnik

Villa Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Designed by Croatian architect Mladen Frka in 1961 to blend into the landscape, this intimate cliffside retreat makes the most of its setting overlooking Lokrum Island and the Adriatic Sea.

Inside, the white marble walls, light hues and dark wicker furniture set the tone for the minimal decor theme that follows in 56 light-flooded rooms, all of which have wood detailing, modern artworks, upscale soft furnishings, and full-length sliding doors opening onto private balconies. There’s also a large indoor-outdoor pool with seating, a serene spa, a well-equipped gym, a private rocky beach, and a gourmet restaurant.

You’ll also find several relaxed bars, lounges, and sea view terraces for dramatic views across Dubrovnik’s Old Town, especially at sunset.

OUR OPINION:

Ticking the boxes for a chic but relaxed stay, Villa Dubrovnik is one of Croatia鈥檚 most luxurious hotels. We love the views of the Old Town, the Adriatic Sea, and the forested Lokrum Island.
