Named after Jerusalem’s historic Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, this small, modern, and laid-back hotel is located in Nachalot, the historic but now gentrified area that attracts artists and musicians to its leafy and residential streets. The hotel has 37 stylish guest rooms, all of which reflect its strong artistic influence and offer contemporary decor and bespoke artworks. The design theme continues throughout the hotel, with works by local artists showcased in the public spaces.
Elsewhere, you’ll find a communal breakfast area and a small, partially-covered outdoor courtyard. There’s also helpful staff who will assist with restaurant recommendations, a complimentary daily happy hour from 5pm to 7pm (except for Saturday), and free-to-use bikes for cycling around the city. Alternatively, if you prefer to explore on foot, the bakeries, caf茅s, restaurants, and numerous food stalls of Mahane Yehuda Market are just a ten-minute walk away.
We love the artistic references at this boutique hotel in Jerusalem鈥檚 Nachlaot area, a ten-minute walk from the Mahane Yehuda Market. It is also an intimate base from which to explore the city鈥檚 main sites.
