The Gate Hotel Kaminarimon is a small hotel by Tokyo standards, with an authentic boutique feel. The hotel is in the historic Asakusa area of Tokyo, which feels a world away from the likes of the modern Shinjuku district of the city. The Gate provides first class views of the Tokyo Skytree — a great way to view it is from the hotel’s exclusive private terrace. This hotel is convenient to the Tokyo subway to enable you to get around the city easily.
Rooms range from modest semi doubles all the way up to luxurious suites. The hotel has all the modern amenities typical in Japan, such as Wi-Fi, toiletries, and laundry service.
Located in Asakusa, The Gate Hotel is in a great location to explore this cultural side of the city. The rooms are tastefully decorated and of reasonable size, but the best part of the property is the fantastic rooftop seating area with fabulous views over the city.
