Responsible Choice
Amanay Home provides a unique and authentic Amazigh experience by offering simple, characterful rooms in a remote Amazigh village at the base of the Atlas Mountains. When you step behind the wooden door which welcomes you into the property, it almost feels like you’re stepping back in time. The property consists of three lovingly restored traditional houses designed in keeping with the architecture and ambiance of the area. This property is totally original and will give you the most authentic experience of a traditional, rural Moroccan home. Bedrooms are cosy and have been designed with earthy tones and traditional furnishings. Characterful and individual touches can be found in every nook and cranny of the property, such as the China vases set back in the bedroom walls, or the colourful rugs which adorn the terraces. The staff will welcome you like family and do whatever they can to make your stay as special as possible. The word “Amanay” means peaceful and peace is exactly what you’ll discover when you step into this traditional guesthouse in the mountains.
Amanay Home is one of our favourite properties in the Atlas Mountains, for its proximity to the local community, traditional character and friendly, personable staff.
