You can enjoy morning and afternoon drives from your camp as well as short walking safaris, night drives and sundowners. As the camp is situated in a private conservancy within the Mara, the number of camps and vehicles here is strictly limited, giving you, by far, the best safari experience away from the busier areas of the park.

The Masai Mara is big cat country, so keep your eyes peeled for lions, cheetahs and, of course, the very elusive leopards.

Today is your final full day on safari, and once again, you'll be able to enjoy a sunrise and sunset drive or perhaps head out into the conservancy for a bush walk. If you have an animal in particular that you're keen to see, do let your guide know so they can try to take you to the right areas.

You'll fly back to Nairobi by light aircraft today. Upon arrival, you'll be met and driven to the peaceful suburb of Karen and dropped off at House of Waine, where you will have the afternoon to relax after your safari.

This morning you'll be collected from your hotel and taken the short distance to the airport to check in for your flight out to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, you're met by an Audley representative and then driven in a private vehicle to your accommodation. After checking in, the rest of the day is free to relax after your flight or begin your exploration of Cape Town. We suggest visiting the V&A Waterfront to browse its many trendy shops, cafés and restaurants.

Begin today with a private guided hike up Table Mountain for spectacular views over the city and ocean. You're collected from your accommodation and driven to the lower cable car station ready for your ascent. Your guide then leads you up steep, rocky trails to the mountain's summit, with plenty of stops to catch your breath while taking in the views — you may see Camps Bay and the 12 Apostles in the distance. You take the cable car back down the mountain. Your time back in the city will be catered to your interests and can include anything from cycling along the coast to visiting world-renowned botanical gardens to strolling through Cape Town's vibrant streets. A special lunch will be arranged as well.

Today you'll head for the port by private vehicle and board your Regent Seven Seas cruise. You can settle into your suite and unpack before exploring the ship. Visit one of the seven eateries or unwind in privacy with in-room dining — all your meals and snacks are included. After, stroll along the deck taking in the views or sink into one of the leather club chairs with a cigar and snifter of rare vintage cognac at the Connoisseur Club.

Relish the slow pace of your first day at sea — you’ll have ample time to unwind and enjoy the ship. Perhaps pamper yourself with a visit to the Serene Spa & Wellness. You can choose from a wide menu of treatments including massages, body wraps, facials, manicures, and pedicures. For something more energetic, try a workout in the fully equipped gym, go for an invigorating jog around the track, or play a game of paddle tennis on the manicured court.

Continue to unwind as you sail to Madagascar. You might lounge by the pool, challenge your fellow passengers to a friendly game of shuffleboard or bocce ball, work on your game at the golf nets or putting green, enjoy the genteel pleasures of afternoon tea, or simply curl up with a good book in the extensive library. There’s also a room available for card games and a programme of evening shows.

Make landfall today in multicultural Durban — a port city wrapped around a golden-sand bay lapped by the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Here, you can explore the city with a guide, visiting the energetic stalls of the Indian Market to buy keepsakes, see orchids at the Durban Botanical Gardens, and discover downtown landmarks such as City Hall and the Natural Science Museum. Or, for more safari adventure, head to Tala Game Reserve to look for giraffes, rhinos, hippos, buffaloes, and the rare sable antelope.

Today, you'll land in Richard’s Bay, the gateway to Zulu land. Here, you can delve into the living history of the Zulu people with a guided visit to DumaZulu Traditional Village. There, you’ll see basket weaving, beadwork, and dancing, as well as divination using thrown bones. You might also take a safari tour of iSimangaliso Wetland Park to look for wildlife, followed by a chance to snorkel on the sheltered beach at Cape Vidal.

Arrive today in the lively city of Maputo. You might dive into its vibrant arts scene, with a guided tour that stops at galleries, a local market, and the former home of painter Noel Langa. If you prefer landmarks to art galleries, consider a walking tour that includes the Beaux-Arts beauty of the central railway station, the relics at Maputo Fortress, and the governor’s house, which is made entirely from iron and designed by Gustav Eiffel himself.

Continue cruising the Mozambique Channel and spend some time enjoying the various entertainment venues available on board. You might try your luck at the casino, where you can play blackjack, poker, and roulette, among other games. At the Constellation Theatre, you could watch a full-scale musical production or simply join in a sing-along backed by the ship’s five-piece orchestra. Take afternoon tea, with live music in the Observation Lounge, or consider meeting your fellow passengers in the Voyager Lounge for cocktails and dancing.

Today, your port of call is Mayotte, one of the Comoros Islands, which are renowned for their coral reefs. You can glimpse the bright sea life that teems around these corals on a guided tour in a glass-bottomed boat through the island’s main lagoon, a protected marine park. Or you can catch the ship’s shuttle to N’Gouja Beach on the southwest shore, where you can laze on the sun-drenched sand or swim in the emerald ocean.

Arrive today on the island of Nosy Be — a destination fragrant with spices and flowers. You can explore the island on a guided tour that might visit a ylang-ylang distillery or a 17th-century Arab-Indian village on the eastern side or take in the views from Mont Passot on the west side. For something a bit wilder, consider a visit to nearby Nosy Komba, an island renowned for its species of endemic lemurs. Here, you can visit a sanctuary and swim in the lagoon.

Landing in Antsiranana, you’ll have the chance to explore some of Madagascar’s most remarkable landscapes. You can join a guided tour of Amber Mountain National Park, home to lush and varied flora as well as lemurs, tropical birds, and brightly scaled chameleons. Or you and your guide can climb into a 4x4 for a tour of the otherworldly rock formations that make up Red Tsingy National Park, where the ochre-red bedrock has been worn into a forest of spikes.

You’ll dock in Nosy Boraha, a tiny island off the east coast of Madagascar. More commonly known as Île Sainte-Marie, this was a popular pirate hideout in the 17th and 18th centuries thanks to its hidden coves and lush forests. Spend your time here exploring the long, silver-sand beaches and exceptional snorkelling in the sun-warmed waters off the island.

Explore another pirate haven when you tie up at Toamasina (also known by its French name, Tamatave). Settled by pirates in the late 18th century, it was captured by the French in 1811. Today it’s a busy, if pleasantly dilapidated, port town with wide golden beaches and a lively street food scene.

As you cruise the Indian Ocean, you can spend time admiring the pristine waters from the windows of your suite, or perhaps the balcony. Alternatively, you could make time to swim in the heated pool or relax in one of the pool deck’s two different whirlpools. Then, enjoy a drink at the Pool Bar, where you can connect with fellow passengers over craft cocktails and frozen drinks. Spend your afternoon browsing the carefully curated collection of handbags, fragrances, and jewellery in the designer boutiques.

Today, you’ll alight in the capital city of Mauritius, Port Louis — your final port of call — to spend the day exploring. You can delve into the island’s culinary culture and history with a spice-themed tour that takes you to its sprawling botanical garden and the craft markets along Le Caudan Waterfront. For something more relaxing, you could join a visit to nearby Île aux Cerfs for a day of white-sand beaches, swimming and snorkelling in the clear blue waters, and a relaxed lunch.

Today you'll disembark from your cruise and be met by your driver for your private car transfer to your hotel further up the Mauritius coast. Arriving at The Oberoi Mauritius, we recommend heading to the white-sand beach and soaking up the views over the bay, as well as the striking sunsets found on the western coast.

For your final morning in Mauritius, you may like to relax by one of the swimming pools or book a treatment at the opulent spa. In the afternoon, you’ll be met by your driver and taken by private car to the airport for your international flight home this evening. Enjoy your last glimpses of the scenic mountain landscapes as you travel through the tropical island.
