Situated near the quieter northern beach resort of Bophut, the Anantara Resort on the island of Koh Samui has an idyllic setting looking out across the Gulf of Thailand. The resort offers something for everyone, whether you want to relax on the beach, by the pool or in the spa, or enjoy activities such as water sports, tennis, exercise classes and cookery lessons.
Accommodation is spacious and well-appointed, set in tropical gardens or looking out to sea and tastefully decorated in a modern Thai style. You can stroll through the delightful tropical gardens filled with water features and lush foliage and tuck in to delicious Thai cuisine at dinner, before cocktails at sunset to end the day in style.
We feel that the Anantara Bophut provides the ideal setting for those seeking the convenience of walking to a wide range of restaurants in the nearby Fisherman’s Village. The range of facilities and activities gives it a wide appeal for families and couples alike.

The Anantara is located on Bophut Beach on the northern coast of Koh Samui. Based in a quiet part of the island, it's nevertheless only a short walk to Fisherman’s Village where you can find a variety of restaurants and bars. Perfect for families or couples wanting a peaceful retreat without total isolation.
Food and drink
Full Moon is the resort's signature restaurant and specialises in chargrilled meat and seafood. A buffet breakfast is served in the High Tide restaurant, which doubles as a Thai restaurant in the evening, serving authentic Thai dishes ranging from old favourites such as Thai green curry to more exotic dishes such as stir-fried rock lobster. More casual dining can be enjoyed at Eclipse Bar, which serves gourmet pizzas, tapas and cocktails, while the Ocean’s Edge bar is a relaxed place for a sundowner. Private dining on the beach can also be arranged for those looking for a more romantic setting. Meanwhile, the quaint, popular area of Fisherman's Cove is a short walk away should you wish to see a little more of the island and eat locally.
Families
The hotel has a good kids' club called Baan Ling Noi (‘Little Monkey’). Deluxe room categories and the suites can accommodate one or two children.
Honeymooners
Honeymooners can take part in a romantic Khom Loi lantern ceremony, enjoy private dinners on the beach and enjoy stunning sunsets over drinks.
