Itinerary idea in detail

  • On arrival in Iguaçu, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel in Argentina. You will stop en route at the viewpoints on the Brazilian side of the falls.

  • Enjoy a guided tour of the Argentine side of the Iguazú Falls.

  • Transfer to the airport for your flight to Salta. You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel.

  • Take a guided tour of Salta's colonial center and visit some of the city's beautiful churches and convents. You will also visit the Museo de Arqueología de Alta Montaña and see the three Incan mummies. Known as the "Llullaillaco Children," their remains were found frozen at the peak of Mount Llullaillaco outside of the city and are shockingly well-preserved.

  • Travel by road or train through stunning Andean scenery to the town of Purmamarca, visiting San Antonio de los Cobres and Salinas Grandes on the way

  • Enjoy a tour of Humahuaca before traveling on to Salta.

  • Head southwest of Salta by road, through scenery that ranges from deep valleys, jungle and open desert savannah, to the tiny town of Cachi.

  • Continue along the famous Ruta 40 into the northern reaches of the wine-producing area around Cafayate.

  • Morning at leisure followed by a leisurely road trip back to Salta.

  • Transfer to the airport for your flights to Buenos Aires. You will be met and taken to your hotel.

  • Enjoy a walking tour of some of Buenos Aires' most famous sites. In the evening take in a tango show.

  • Morning at leisure followed by transfer to the airport for your flight home.
