Drift House, although small in size, this property is large in personality. With no two rooms the same, the guesthouse is located at the end of the Great Ocean Road in Port Fairy, Victoria. Adorned with contemporary furnishings, the architectural artistry bleeds from the expansive guest suites into the dining and lounge areas. The welcoming staff are exceptional when it comes to service and cleanliness, but the real star is the onsite dining lounge that provides locally sourced breakfast for guests and rustic Spanish fare and wine for dinner. With serene gardens and bikes to rent to explore, the sophisticated warmth of Driftwood is an oasis — the perfect retreat for breaking up the Melbourne to Adelaide drive.
Quaint on the outside but stylishly elegant on the inside — this accommodation is exceptional. Just a few minutes from the beach, you can't beat the location especially after exploring the Great Ocean Road.

Rooms
The boutique hotel has only a limited number of suites. However, the rooms are nearly double the size of your average hotel room. With some suites offering terraces and others a fireplace for chillier nights, the Drift House has transformed the space with artistic architectural interiors. Premium bedding, sound-insulated walls and bespoke amenities have been thoughtfully and locally sourced for a pleasant stay.
Location
Drift House is in Port Fairy, a town known for being the last on the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne. And from Melbourne it's just a three and a half hour drive from the interior highway route, or six to eight hours using the Great Ocean Road. Within walking distance to the beach and town, there are various tracks to great surf watching to a lighthouse.
Food and drink
Breakfast is provided daily to guests with locally sourced ingredients and served in the lounge. In the evening on select days, the space is converted into a lounge for wine and small Spanish canapes. Two rooms offer kitchenettes, but all rooms are equipped with a maxi-bar of assorted drinks and delicious nibbles.
