The Great Ocean Walk, on Victoria’s spectacular west coast, stretches 104 kilometers from the idyllic resort town of Apollo Bay to Glenample Homestead (near to the 12 Apostles).
This outstanding coastal bush walk takes you through some of the most remarkable forest and coast scenery including rocky platforms, sheltered beaches, pristine rivers, huge forests and coastal heathland.
As well as spectacular scenery this whole coastline is home to a huge variety of bird and wildlife, and you can expect to see kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and koalas to name a few of the more well known species. King Parrots, rufous bristlebirds, crimson rosellas, singing honeyeaters and yellow-tailed black cockatoos are among the birds regularly sighted along the walk.
