Savuti Camp has seven tents and overlooks a waterhole in the dry Savuti Channel.
The waterhole is constantly busy, with everything from warthog to wildebeest coming to drink and, in the dry season, hundreds of elephant. Tents are simple but comfortable and the dining room and bar are raised on stilts with views of the waterhole.
There’s a small swimming pool, but it’s rarely filled in winter as the elephants drink all the water at night.
There are game drives, walks and night-drives from camp and a superb ‘log pile’ hide where guests can observe animals (mostly elephants) from extremely close quarters.
