For a true taste of Colombia's coffee region look no further than Hacienda Venecia. This traditional, family owned hacienda offers guests an insight into the region with a friendly family feel at the hotel and a stunning location. The hacienda has been in the family for four generations and is still very much a working farm today, and one of the best places to learn about coffee production in Colombia.
Staying in the main house at Venecia is a bit like being welcomed into a family home, with simple bedrooms dotted around a central veranda and kitchen area, with plenty of areas to sit and relax or read, sip a drink from the honesty bar or brew a fresh coffee. There's a lovely pool and new gazebo and games room where you can sit to take in the stunning views, and as well as coffee tours both hiking and horse riding can be arranged.
