Domes of Elounda

Crete, Greece

Perched on the hillside with sweeping views across the gulf of Elounda and Spinalonga, the Domes of Elounda offers a luxurious base from which to explore the eastern side of the island. The hotel’s own private area of the beach offers sunbeds and hammocks as well as a water sports rental area.

Back up at the hotel, you can choose from five different pools, relax in the modern spa and make use of the fitness room and tennis court. For families, the hotel offers various children’s clubs with activities throughout the day.

Breakfast is served in a buffet style in the Mediterranean restaurant, which is also open in the evenings for dinner. For lunch and dinner, you have the choice of an Italian restaurant, an à la carte seafood restaurant and an Asian restaurant. You’re also a short walk or drive from central Elounda, about 3.7 km (2 miles) away.

OUR OPINION:

Sweeping views of the bay, a private beach and ample facilities are what draw us to this hotel. There are plenty of interconnecting rooms, making it an excellent choice for families who want to explore this part of the island.
