Like the decor, the generous breakfast and handcrafted cocktails reflect the Cyclades’ rich heritage. Ingredients are fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced, including those from the gardens of sister property Verina Astra — home to a farm-to-table restaurant overlooking the Aegean.

I love waking up at Verina Terra. You’ll step onto your balcony for breakfast, overlooking the lush gardens, before strolling a short distance to the island’s most beautiful beach. It’s the best of both worlds, in one elegant and relaxed setting.

A collection of low-slung whitewashed buildings scattered among olive trees and landscaped gardens, Verina Terra offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom maisonettes, apartments, suites, and double rooms.
All come with private terraces overlooking the gardens and to the hills beyond. One apartment has its own private garden and entrance, another caters for families or groups of up to five people.
The decor is luxuriously minimalist, featuring an earthy palette and natural materials. Expect wooden beams, rattan lampshades, and locally made ceramics. All rooms come with walk-in showers and kitchenettes.

Located on the southern coast of Sifnos, Verina Terra is a 15-minute drive from the island’s capital Apollonia. Hidden among olive and lemon trees, the property is within easy reach of hiking trails that lead into the hills, and just steps from the longest beach on the island. A golden stretch of sand gently sloping into crystalline waters, Platis Gialos is lined with bars and restaurants.
