Itinerary idea in detail

Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Arrive in Mumbai, where one of our local representatives will greet you. You'll then meet your driver and head into the city to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. This evening, you might like to enjoy a drink in your hotel bar, which has views across the city.

  • Explore Mumbai's diverse communities through an immersive tour, featuring historical sights, unique cultural experiences, and a Bollywood dance class. End the day with Konkan cuisine, a visit to the spice market, and a ride on the suburban train network, concluding at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.

  • With a turnover of hundreds of millions each year and the title of being the largest slum in Asia, Dharavi is an eye-opening place of contrasts, which you will explore with a local guide today. The slum is alive with an incredible entrepreneurial spirit, but it is also cramped, smelly, and very dirty — it's good to go prepared with sensible shoes. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

  • After breakfast, return to the airport for the short 75-minute flight south to Goa. On arrival, a local driver will greet you and drive you to your hotel for the next five nights.

  • Today is free to enjoy your hotel's facilities, relax, and unwind after a busy couple of days in Mumbai.

  • Today you might like to head to the beach to enjoy the Indian Ocean. Try the fresh catch of the day from one of the local beach vendors or simply take a walk along the long coastline.

  • For some history, you might like to head to the old town to see the influences left behind by the Dutch and Portuguese. Your hotel can arrange a transfer, or try a local tuk-tuk ride.

  • Be sure to enjoy the local cuisine at many of the nearby seafood restaurants and cafés — always ask if the seafood was caught that morning and have it cooked how the chef recommends for the best flavours.

  • Your driver will collect you and drive you back to the airport today for your return flight(s) home.
