Lembongan Island is located two hours by boat off the southeastern coast of Bali.
Boats from Sanur and Benoa beaches head across the Badung Strait several times daily, but none a finer vessel than the Wakalouka catamaran.
The island itself consists of several small backpacker and diving hotels, as well as the Waka Nusa. The main form of economy for the locals (those that are not involved in tourism) is seaweed farming, which they export to Japan and Europe.
This little island is a perfect retreat from the hustle bustle of Southern Bali, with white sandy beaches and unparalleled diving and snorkeling.
