A charmingly chic boutique option, the Palazzo Manfredi is easily the best located hotel for views of the Colosseum. With its excellent Michelin starred restaurant, it is not surprising that the terrace has been the setting for over 150 marriage proposals, the view is simply incredible.

Rooms

All the rooms at the Palazzo Manfredi feature a host of modern design elements, from statement lamps and mirrors to stylish mixes of paint and wallpaper. Each room stylishly incorporates amenities such as espresso machines and high quality modern bath fittings. In keeping with the boutique nature of the hotel, there are no minibars in the rooms. Rather, if guests would like a snack or a drink in their room, the staff will be more than happy to bring it up on request.

A number of the rooms enjoy views across the hillside of the Colle Oppio Park, with its scattered Roman ruins. However, those wishing for a view of the Colosseum should opt for one of the higher level rooms or suites.
