Upon arrival in Amman, your family will be met at the airport by one of our friendly local representatives. They will escort you through immigration and ensure a stress-free arrival. After, your private driver will transfer your family to your downtown hotel.

Your private guide will meet your family at your hotel and drive you to the Roman ruins at Jerash for a short, fun, interactive tour of the impressive site. On the way back to Amman, you will stop off at the Iraq al-Amir Women’s Cooperative, where you will all take part in a paper making workshop, using local materials and traditional techniques. Learn about the great work the cooperative does to support local women, before you return to your Amman hotel.

Depart Amman and head to Petra. This is a long drive, but en route you will stop off to see the Christian mosaics of Madaba, where you will visit the Madaba Institute for Mosaic Art and Restoration and have a hands-on workshop. Afterwards, continue to Mount Nebo and the fascinating Crusader castle at Kerak. On arrival in Petra, you will have the evening to relax.

Today, your family will spend a full day exploring the 'Lost City' of Petra with a private, local guide. Your guide will tailor the tour to your family’s level of interest. Be prepared for an energetic and inspiring day.

Today, you have another day to explore this ancient site unguided. This evening, enjoy a hands-on cookery class with a local chef who will teach your family how to prepare traditional Jordanian food. Afterwards, enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Your family will be driven for approximately two hours to reach your Bedouin-style camp at Wadi Rum. On arrival, you will all have the opportunity to ride a camel through the desert scenery and feel like real Bedouins. After enjoying a traditional Jordanian meal, you will spend the night by the campfire under the desert stars, a memorable experience for all the family.

After breakfast, have a ride in a traditional Bedouin-style jeep and explore some of the highlights of Wadi Rum. This will be a fun and exhilarating ride as you all head out across the dunes and feel like explorers as you follow in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia. In the afternoon, you will then travel around one and a half hours to the Dead Sea for some rest and relaxation.

Today you have the chance to float weightlessly in the salt water at the Dead Sea. Great fun for all the family, make sure you treat yourselves to a Dead Sea mud bath and soak in the natural benefits of these minerals. If you’d like some time to yourselves at the Mövenpick Resort, why not book yourselves into the spa for a treatment and leave the kids at the kids’ club for a few hours.

You will be collected this morning in good time to head back to Queen Alia International Airport, in Amman, for your return flight. Your family will be met at the airport by a local representative who will usher you through check-in and departures and ensure a stress-free departure from Jordan. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
