RV Kindat Pandaw

Cruise Ships in Myanmar : RV Kindat Pandaw

The RV Kindat is the sister ship of RV Kalaw and both boats are identical. In traditional Pandaw style the boat is set in teak and brass and has an aura of colonial luxury. This is a superb option for those looking to explore Myanmar’s scenic waterways and historic sites.

Accommodating up to 36 guests, RV Kindat holds medium capacity in comparison to the other boats making up Pandaw’s fleet. On board you’ll be witness to passing teak barges, small fishing boats and unforgettable night skies. There’s plenty of peaceful space for guests to relax, including a cozy library and a sociable dining room, where you may choose to eat alfresco if you prefer, taking in the sights and sounds of the river.

While ashore you’ll be given the opportunity to see the highlights of Myanmar’s central plains up close and with the direction of Pandaw’s renowned guides, each of whom has explored the region for many years and accumulated a passion for and knowledge of the area.

Cabins

The boat has 18 stateroom cabins across the upper and main decks, all with air conditioning, an en suite and 18 square meters of space. Guests can gaze through their cabin's panoramic French window at the passing scenery.

Dining

  • Bistro style dining room with outside seating
  • Semi-buffet breakfasts and lunches, plus seated themed dinners
  • Complimentary tea and coffee
  • 24 hour bar
  • Bakery
  • Complimentary evening canapés

Routes

  • Ayeyarwady River — 7 nights between Bagan and Mandalay and vice versa.
  • Ayeyarwady and Chindwin Rivers — 14 nights between Pyay and Kalay.

This is one of the smaller vessels to operate in the Pandaw fleet, which makes for a more personal experience on a popular route. I particularly like how the interior is peppered with historic prints, antiques, and artifacts.
