Responsible Choice
Jade Mountain is an adults-only, luxurious hillside resort with views of both the Petit and Gros Piton mountains set within 600 lush, tropical acres bordering two sandy beaches each with their own pristine coral reefs. The hotel is built into the mountainside so that you feel as though you’re part of the landscape and it’s idyllic beachfront setting puts Jade Mountain in a perfect position for enjoying a host of water sport and outdoor adventure activities, including scuba diving, kayaking, sailing and cycling. The hotel strongly promotes sustainability by supporting local produce, building locally, maintaining their local organic farm, composting waste and many more.
A small, characterful hotel with a fantastic array of activities on offer and all within close proximity to the Pitons. Unfortunately due to the nature of the property we do not recommend for guests with mobility issues.

Rooms
The intimate resort offers 29 open-walled sanctuary suites, across five room categories. All have views of the Pitons filling the open-air space which would traditionally be a fourth wall.
The Sun, Moon and Star Sanctuary Pool Suites all feature a private infinity pool along with the Galaxy Sanctuary suites that are set at the highest level and enjoy the most outstanding views. The Sky Jacuzzi Suite features a large whirlpool bath but no infinity pool. All rooms include Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, a 24-hour butler service and tea and coffee facilities. The suites, however, deliberately do not provide telephones, televisions, or radios in order to create a true sanctuary environment of complete peace and relaxation. All sanctuaries are furnished with hand-made pieces made from varying tropical wood alongside hand-picked ornate items, so each one feels unique and authentic.
Location
Located on St. Lucia’s south-western Caribbean coastline, one hour from Hewanorra Airport by road or five minutes by helicopter, Jade Mountain is St. Lucia’s only property with spectacular views of both the Gros and Petit Piton mountains rising up from the Caribbean Sea.
Food and drink
Meals are served at the Jade Mountain Club, the hotel’s open-air fine-dining restaurant, that boasts views of the sea and Pitons. Guests may also dine in the privacy of their suite and are welcome to enjoy the variety of dining options at neighboring hotel, Anse Chastanet.
For sunset drinks with a difference, head to the rooftop Celestial Terrace for watching sunsets or stargazing. Breakfast at Jade Mountain is an à la carte affair and lunch and dinners consist of modern fusion cuisine, and feature plenty of fruit and vegetables from the Anse Chastanet estate and its nearby organic farm. Additionally, the hotel offers its own brewery at Emerald Estate where you can have a beer tasting experience. Further dining options are available at the four restaurants down the hill at the Anse Chastanet Resort.
Families
Children 16 and under are not permitted at this resort.
Facilities and activities
Jade Mountain offers an extensive selection of activities, including yoga, art classes, water sports, a mountain bike trail, walking nature tours, and Tree to Bar chocolate tours. There is also a gym, tennis courts and a spa. Unwind with a selection of spa treatments in your sanctuary or in Jade Mountain’s boutique spa Kai en Ciel. Choose from a full menu of classic or holistic treatments and therapies.
When staying at Jade Mountain, you also have access to all the facilities at sister resort, Anse Chastanet, including restaurants, bars, and water sports, along with an on-site PADI diving centre. After a bike, dive or walk, you can always relax with a sunset sail on the Jazzy Sunset Cruise aboard 60 ft resort catamaran, Lucky T.
Accessibility
Due to its hillside location this hotel may be unsuitable for those with walking difficulties, although a free shuttle is available.

Where possible, we like to offer a range of accommodation for each stop of your trip, chosen by our specialists as some of their favorite places to stay.
