Babylonstoren is one of the best preserved farms of the Cape Dutch tradition. The manor house dates from 1777 and some of the structures date back to the founding of the farm in 1692.
The working farm is a perfect place to relax and makes a fabulous base from which to explore the Winelands. The farm is spread over 200 hectares where you can enjoy guided walks around the grounds or simply stroll at your leisure. There is a spa on site, a gym to use and you can either swim or take a boat out in the dam. Picnic lunches and dinners can be arranged, as can sundowners over a glass of the local wine.
Babel, the award-winning Babylonstoren restaurant, celebrates the seasons using locally grown produce.
