In a private long-tail boat, you can explore the karst-dotted waters of the Andaman Sea away from the crowds. With a local captain to guide you, you鈥檒l go at your own pace, see popular sights from the quiet of your boat, and relax on peaceful beaches away from the main visitor hotspots.
A private driver will pick you up from your Phuket hotel early in the morning to take you to the pier, where your captain and traditional (but comfortable) long-tail boat await.
Soon after setting off, you鈥檒l notice the tree-speckled karst tower of Khao Phing Kan piercing out of the water. Known as James Bond Island for its role in The Man with the Golden Gun, the area has become popular with visitors. You can appreciate and photograph the karst scenery from the water, away from the crowds on a nearby beach.
Then, your captain will steer you further afield, navigating you past a pristine mangrove forest. They鈥檒l scour the coast to find a more secluded beach, where you can spend a while swimming and relaxing.
Finally, you鈥檒l head to a private island to enjoy a fresh seafood lunch surrounded by powder-soft sands. Once you鈥檝e eaten, you can relax, sunbathe, swim, or explore before you cruise back to Phuket. You鈥檒l arrive in time to see the sun sinking below the horizon, bathing the water in a pink-golden glow.
The boat can take up to eight people, and the experience will last around eight hours.
