Today you will journey to Corella, stopping off at a local market en route, where you will have the chance to see and learn about the regional ingredients which are key to Bohol's cuisine.
Corella is home to the Tarsier Sanctuary, which serves as a refuge for the world's smallest primate, the endangered tarsier. While here you can observe these rare, nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat and perhaps meet Carlito Pizarras, also known as the Tarsier Man. Carlito has for many years devoted his life to studying the Philippine tarsiers, now officially grouped under the genus 'Carlito'.
Afterwards you will pass by the Baclayon Church, which was formerly being considered for UNESCO World Heritage status before it was badly damaged by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Bohol and other parts of Central Visayas in 2013.
Your last stop of the day will be at the Bohol Bee Farm, located in Dao, Dauis. This is where lunch will be served. The resident organic garden makes for a lovely excursion allowing you to see where the food on your plate comes from. All the food is prepared using locally grown organic ingredients from the farm.
After lunch you will be taken back to your hotel.
