Buckland Manor, Cotswolds

Buckland Manor

The Cotswolds, The UK

One of the most charming country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is set in a picturesque village and dates back to the mid-13th century. Although much changed and updated, it retains the charm of a medieval mansion with stone fireplaces, leaded windows and elaborate wood paneling. All 15 rooms are unique in size and decor and offer views over the Malvern Hills or the gardens and croquet lawn.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the main dining room, and afternoon tea can be taken in the stately lounge or on the terrace. This luxurious rural retreat is well located for visiting the Cotswolds but equally good for enjoying country pursuits such as horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and bucolic walks.

OUR OPINION:

This is one of the most historic and quintessentially English manors in the rural Cotswolds, offering a true home-from-home experience in the heart of the countryside but still close to the towns and villages this region is known for.
