The Omni Royal Orleans occupies a prime position in the very heart of New Orleans' French Quarter. From the timelessly elegant lobby, traditional full-service barber shop and complimentary shoe shine, to the fitness center, the fabulous rooftop swimming pool and the observation deck overlooking the city, the Omni combines old-world charm with 21st century amenities.
By day you can relax with a refreshing drink in the poolside bar, while the award-winning Rib Room and Bar, famous for its 'washbucket martini', is an excellent option for dinner after perusing the vibrant streets of New Orleans.
The Omni Royal Orleans really sets the benchmark on high quality hotels in the city. It’s hard to find a better hotel with the same level of Southern charm and character.

Food and drink
Standards are high at this property, with a selection of fine dining options to choose from. The Rib Room features classic and contemporary dishes, most of which are cooked in a rotisserie. La Riviera, the poolside bar located on the rooftop, is a fantastic place for some pre-dinner cocktails during the summer, while La Touché bar is popular among the locals.
In-room dining is available 24 hours a day. Half a block away is K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen — one of the top restaurants in New Orleans. The restaurant's owner, Paul Prudhomme, was one of America's first celebrity chefs, specializing in Cajun cuisine.
Families
The Omni Sensational Kids program means that upon check-in, children receive a rucksack full of entertaining games and goodies themed around health and nutrition. Kids also receive milk and cookies delivered to their room on the first night.
In terms of accommodation, all of the suites have a sofa bed for additional guests, with some also able to interconnect. The Premier rooms can also come with twin double or queen beds to suit families.
