-
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Colombo.
-
Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, travel a short distance to your first hotel, where you can relax after a long journey.
-
Explore the fascinating, ancient Dambulla Caves today en route to your next hotel. You'll be situated in the heart of the cultural triangle, with views of Sigiriya Rock.
-
We suggest an early start to climb Sigiriya Rock, to avoid both crowds and the heat. A leisurely breakfast can then be enjoyed before further exploration of the area, including cycling around Polonnaruwa.
-
Discover a national park today; enjoy the scenery and hopefully see elephants, deer, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birdlife, and other wildlife which calls this beautiful part of the country home.
-
Travel south to Kandy today. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, before heading out this evening on a food walk through the city. See a different side of the Kandy as you taste your way through the streets.
-
Visit Sri Lanka's most revered Buddhist temple today, the Temple of the Tooth, to witness the puja ceremonies. Later, explore and relax in the peaceful botanical gardens.
-
Colombo is today's destination. A city often overlooked, there is lots to see and do. Your hotel is located next to the ocean, overlooking the beach and green; popular with locals and tourists alike.
-
Your chauffeur-guide will help you explore the fast-evolving city of Colombo today. From grand hotels, the clock tower and cinnamon gardens to bustling markets, temples, churches, mosques and shopping malls, your day can include whatever suits your preferences and interests.
-
Say farewell to Sri Lanka and fly to Malé. Your resort representative will greet you, and together you'll transfer, by speedboat, to your island resort.
-
Today is free to relax. You might like to snorkel to the house reef just offshore, often visited by turtles and manta rays.
-
To explore the clear Maldivian waters around the island, consider a boat excursion. It's a wonderful place to dive; if it's your first time, fully qualified instruction is available.
-
You might like to make the most of the spa facilities today or try yoga or meditation. It's possible to book a treatment in your own room or on a secluded section of the beach.
-
To make your last day special, you might like to book a private dinner on the beach, surrounded by torches. A chef can be on hand to cook your dinner on a beachside barbecue.
-
Another farewell as your speedboat transfers you back to the airport to catch your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
