Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Copenhagen. Upon arrival in Copenhagen, you'll be met at the airport and driven to your centrally located hotel. Once you've settled in, join your small group to embark on a two-and-a-half-hour cycling tour, which will help you get your bearings and include many of the city’s most important landmarks.
-
Explore the royal palaces of Copenhagen with a private local guide this morning. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend as you wish. We recommend visiting the vibrant Nyhavn waterfront, the Little Mermaid statue, or the 17th-century Round Tower.
-
Spend the day outside of Copenhagen in nearby Roskilde, known for its history dating back to the Viking Age. You'll take the train from Copenhagen and have the day to explore Roskilde at your own pace. You can wander the streets, visit Roskilde Cathedral, and stop by the Viking Ship Museum. At the end of the day, you'll take the train back to Copenhagen.
-
Today, travel through southern Sweden to Stockholm by train. Upon arrival in the city, make your own way to your hotel and get settled in. In the afternoon, float along the historic canals of the capital on a short, 50-minute cruise.
-
Today, embark on a walking tour of Stockholm's old town with a private guide. You'll see some of Gamla Stan’s key landmarks, such as Stortorget central square and the Royal Palace as well as Storkyrkan Cathedral and the City Hall.
-
Travel to Oslo this morning by train, a scenic journey of around seven hours. Upon arrival in the capital of Norway, make your way to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to rest or explore the city.
-
Embark on a private gastronomic walking tour to immerse yourself in Norwegian cuisine at the same time as you explore the city. You'll learn about traditional dishes and visit the city's best eateries, trying delicacies such as homemade cheese, cured meat, waffles, and local beer along the way.
-
Head out of Oslo with your private driver-guide to visit Oscarsborg Fortress. Located on two islands in the narrowest part of Oslofjord, the fortress was built in the 19th century for defensive purposes and played a key role in defeating the German attack against Norway during World War II. After exploring the grounds and museum of the fortress, you'll continue on to nearby Drøbak, a town known for its wooden architecture and home to the house of the Norwegian Santa Claus, Julenissen.
