Nestled between the glimmering shoreline of Lake Hallstatt and the staggering cliffs of the northern Alps, The Heritage.Hotel offers a relaxed getaway. The main building is a carefully restored historic building that features views of the mountains, water and the market square — a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The restored buildings retain some of the original features, including the brickwork and roof beams, but are decorated in a minimalist modern style. Pine wood furnishings underscore the Alpine theme, with spacious bedrooms in natural wood accentuated with flecks of rusty red.
In addition to rooms and suites, the main building also features a lakeview restaurant that serves fish straight from Lake Hallstatt, in addition to typical Austrian dishes such as schnitzel. Right outside the door is the town’s market square and stately Evangelical church. After a day of exploring the town, you can relax in the sauna or steam room at the hotel spa.
We love the water views from the lakeside rooms, the restaurant at The Heritage.Hotel and its location within Hallstatt. It’s in the heart of the little town’s car-free zone and within walking distance of every restaurant, shop and attraction.
