Chan Chich Lodge

Chan Chich Lodge is set in the north of Belize about 20 minutes' drive from Gallon Jug farm and airstrip. It has a unique location in the unexcavated lower plaza of the ancient Maya city of Chan Chich set in a private nature reserve of over 250,000 acres.

There are 12 individually thatched cabanas spread throughout their delightful gardens, beautifully decorated with local exotic hardwoods. The cabanas are fully screened with two queen size beds, a ceiling fan, a private bathroom and 24 hour electricity with a deck and hammocks.

The deluxe cabanas are more spacious with much larger bathrooms and either have two queens or one king size bed. This secluded luxury lodge is a fantastic place for birding and wildlife spotting, even the elusive jaguar can occasionally be seen!

There are self-guided trails throughout the property and excellent guides on hand for birding walks and a wide range of other excursions on offer such as canoeing, lake tours, horse riding and to Maya ruins. There is also a small swimming pool and Jacuzzi on site to relax in after a day's activities.
