Angkor Wat at sunset
Believed to be the world's largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers. Watching the sun set, sat on one of the temple's ancient walls is a magical experience.
Kompong Khleang & the Tonle Sap
Travel southeast to one of the largest and least-visited villages on the Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Khleang, about 55 km from Siem Reap. It has a population of about 10,000 people, all of whom make a living from the fishing industry.

Visit Ream National Park
Ream National Park is a pristine maritime park just outside Sihanoukville. Notable for its mangrove forests, wildlife and pure stretches of white beach, the park itself is over 21,000 hectares and includes two islands — Koh Thmei and Koh Ses.
Search for Irrawaddy Dolphins
Sometimes the best sightings are to be had from the high embankment where you can scan a wide area of water and have a distinct advantage over the water level views of those in boats.
Cave Pagodas
Heading out from Kep, journey into the surrounding countryside. We stop first at Phnom Chhnork, a large cave that contains a 7th century brick temple in remarkable condition. We then stop at the cave complex of Phnom Sorsia, a holy mountain peppered with shrines and grottoes.
