Upon arrival, be greeted at the airport and taken to your hotel in the lovely area of Providencia. Enjoy a walking tour in the afternoon.

Fly to Calama and be transferred to your hotel in San Pedro. You can then begin to choose your activities for the next few days.

Activities today will have you out exploring the Atacama. You may find yourself taking in the lunar landscapes of Moon Valley, trekking through the Altiplano, or observing the stunning night sky.

Be picked up from your hotel and taken to the border. You will cross into Bolivia, passing through the stunning Eduardo Avaroa National Park, home to Laguna Colorada, Verde and the Dali Desert. You will spend the night on the shores of Laguna Hedionda with pats of flamingos.

You will continue north today through the Altiplano, stopping at places such as the Rock Valley, Siloli Desert and Tree Rock. Cross over the salt flat to enjoy sunset at the camper.

At leisure with your guide today — you will be able to explore the salt flats and small village of Jirira with them.

Transfer through the mountains to Tupiza. Spend the night in a basic hotel.

Early start to head to the Argentine border. You will cross by foot and meet your Argentine guide there. Make your way to the impressive El Hornocal before spending the night in Tilcara.

Be driven through Humahuaca Gorge to Purmamarca. You will have the day to explore this region which is rich in geological wonders.

Transfer to Salta. En route you will visit the Argentine equivalent of Uyuni, the Salinas Grandes where you will explore the salt flats before continuing on to Salta.

Drive through the stunning Calchaqui Valleys to the picturesque town of Cafayate. This is the main wine-producing area in the northwest, and as such, we've arranged two tastings today.

Fly to Buenos Aires today and have the evening to yourselves. After traversing the northwest, we recommend a relaxing night enjoying steak, empanadas, pasta, or any of the cuisines Argentina is famous for, along with a bottle of wine.

Enjoy a tour of the city which will have you taking in some of the city's most famous historical landmarks.
