Rooms

The Regent has seven luxurious room types, all including in-room entertainment centers and Wi-Fi throughout. The entry-level Deluxe room is very spacious and available in both twin and king options. Premium rooms are very similar to the Deluxe, only differing in their view, with the Premium rooms looking out toward the Forbidden City or overlooking the hutongs. You have the option with both of these room types to upgrade to include the numerous Regent’s Club Lounge benefits. There are also larger Executive rooms and a number of spacious suite options, all of which have views of the Forbidden City or hutongs.

Location

The Regent has a convenient location within central Beijing, just a five-minute walk from Wangfujing Street, which is home to some excellent shopping and dining options should you want to venture away from your hotel in the evening. If you're looking to travel a little further toward Tiananmen Square or the Forbidden City, it’s still only a 20- to 30-minute walk, or you can hop on the metro — there's a station just outside the hotel.

Food and drink

The Regent has four restaurants, including the Lei Garden, which has been awarded a Michelin star for its exceptional Cantonese cuisine. The other three restaurants are also excellent options: Morton’s The Steakhouse offers quality prime-aged steak, fresh seafood as well as appetizers and desserts; Daccapo offers contemporary Western cuisine; and Jinbao 99 serves both modern Asian and international dishes in either buffet or à la carte styles.

Families

Children aged 5 to 12 are warmly welcomed to the hotel, and can even fill in their own fun check-in cards on arrival. Children's menus are available at the restaurants, as well as games to encourage mental stimulation during the meal.

Facilities and activities

On site facilities include a business center, well-equipped fitness center, a 25-meter indoor pool and a spa offering a variety of treatments.
