Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort

The award-winning Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort is one of the most renowned vacation destinations in the South Pacific. It is located on 17 acres of coconut plantation, overlooking the peaceful waters of Savusavu Bay. None of the 25 intimate thatched roof bures has television or telephones, ensuring complete peace and quiet. Each bure features luxurious king size beds with overhead fans, and all are situated to take advantage of the sea breezes and views. Diving at the resort is, as you might expect, world class, led by Jean-Michel Cousteau's dive operation L'Aventure. However, this eco-resort offers a variety of other activities for both children and adults, and the kids' club and nanny services make this a fantastic resort for families.

The resort is also perfect for couples and honeymooners as there are designated adult only areas for those who wish to do nothing at all but lie on the beach or relax by the pool and soak up the atmosphere of the South Pacific.
