When you land in Berlin, a private driver will meet you as you leave the baggage claim area and transfer you to your hotel in the city. You’ll have the afternoon to explore the surrounding area once you settle in after the flight.
-
Understanding the architecture of Berlin is a great way to understand the city’s history. Today, enjoy a half-day tour with a private guide walking you through the different districts while you learn about the styles of each era. Finish at the Panoramapunkt for a 360-degree view of the city. Spend the afternoon at leisure — we’ll offer plenty of suggestions.
-
Today’s full-day tour will take you outside the city, with a private driver and guide, to Potsdam and the Sanssouci Palace for a tour of Frederick the Great’s retreat. Continue to Cecilienhof, a very different sort of palace that was host to the Potsdam Conference of 1945, and finish in Potsdam itself for a tour and some free time.
-
Board Germany’s expansive train system for the two-hour trip to Dresden, where your local guide will meet you for a tour. Almost entirely destroyed during World War II aerial bombings, the city has been lovingly restored, and you’ll visit the highlights as your guide explains the city’s tragic history and rebirth. Enjoy lunch at your leisure before returning to Berlin by train.
-
Enjoy a leisurely morning before a private transfer to Berlin’s airport for the 90-minute flight to Bavaria’s capital city, Munich. You’ll be picked up and transferred to your hotel, after which you can check out some of the nearby museums or sites based on our recommendations.
-
With your driver-guide, embark on a full-day tour to Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace. Inspiration for Disney’s castle, Neuschwanstein was a summer house for King Ludwig II and something of a shrine to composer Richard Wagner. Continue to Linderhof, a small, lavish palace nestled in a woodland, and then to Wieskirche, a Baroque pilgrimage church, before returning to Munich.
-
Munich has a seemingly endless number of sites and attractions to visit. Today, explore on your own — we’ll give you plenty of suggestions specific to your interests, so you can make the most of your time. You might visit the Bavarian National Museum, BMW’s headquarters or wander the Maximilianstrasse, the city’s most exclusive boulevard, lined with luxury shops and haute-couture unique to Munich.
-
Enjoy a private, full-day tour of the storybook Bavarian villages along the Romantic Road. With your driver-guide, make stops at the 11th-century Harburg Castle, the walled town of Nördlingen and the brightly painted village of Dinkelsbühl, which was used as the set for The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm. At the end of your day, you’ll be returned to your hotel in Munich.
-
Check out of your hotel in the morning and be picked up by a private driver at the appropriate time to transfer you to Munich International Airport for your onward flight.
