With its prime location on Thessaloniki’s main Aristotelous Square, Electra Palace is a landmark in itself. Its curved, column-lined façade combines neoclassical and Byzantine influences, a theme that continues inside with marble inlay flooring and ornate furnishings. Rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed, many overlooking the Thermaikos Gulf and out to Mount Olympus in the distance. This seascape also forms the backdrop while you’re dining on local cuisine at the hotel’s all-day restaurant and bar on the top floor.
Electra Palace’s rooftop pool provides a sunny spot to unwind, while the spa features a heated indoor pool, sauna, 24-hour gym, and a range of holistic treatments. You’re also conveniently placed to explore all the city has to offer. The hotel is within easy walking distance of many of Thessaloniki’s cultural highlights, such as the White Tower and the Archaeological Museum, as well as a wealth of bars, cafés, shops, and restaurants.
OUR OPINION:
Electra Palace more than lives up to the majesty of its name, with grand architecture, luxurious rooms, and a location in the heart of the city. We couldn’t get enough of the sea views from the restaurant and rooftop pool.
