  • You'll have an early start this morning as it's around a five- to six-hour drive down the 5,000-year-old King's Highway to Petra. En route, you stop to see Mount Nebo, with its spectacular views over the Dead Sea, the Christian mosaics of Madaba, and the crusader castle of Kerak. On arrival in Petra, you are driven to your hotel, The Petra Marriott, where you will stay for the next two nights.

  • Today, you will enjoy a guided tour of Petra. Your private, local guide will be with you for around two to three hours, after which you have some time to explore further on your own. Although it is probably the highlight of your vacation, bring your walking shoes and be prepared for an inspiring but energetic day as it鈥檚 a big site to explore!
