Luckily, I come from a family that enjoys travel. At first, it was mostly to tropical islands, skiing, or cruises but as my sister and I matured, so did our destinations.
My first international trip was when we went to Italy. From then on, I was captivated by exploring other countries and cultures. We went to several other European destinations and even the United Arab Emirates, and India recently, but once I was old enough I started to pursue travel opportunities of my own all over the world.
After obtaining my MBA and some time spent in the software field, I soon realized I needed to find something I could truly be passionate about. With my obsession for travel, I knew that Audley would be a perfect fit. Since finding Audley, I’ve been able to have some unforgettable adventures and I am so excited to help others have once in a lifetime experiences.

Q&A with Zachary
What’s the one thing you always pack?
One thing that I always pack is a power converter or two. Many hotels do provide them or have usb inputs by the bed, but not all of them. I like to think that being over prepared is better and having them just in case will be a lifesaver if one of your hotels does not provide them. This way, your phone and other electronics will always have enough charge.
What’s your most vivid travel moment?
My most vivid travel moment was in Ranthambore National Park, India, on a tiger safari. We were told there’s no guarantee that we'd see any, even with several safaris. Most of the first safari we got to see different wildlife but no tigers. We had to leave the park by sunset but as we were getting ready to head back, our guide heard one of his colleagues, signalling that they had spotted a tiger. As the sun was setting, we raced across the plains with the hopes of spotting her. Minutes later, out of the tall grass walked the most beautiful Bengal tiger, approaching our jeep. We watched in awe as the powerful, majestic animal marked its territory and walked right across our path. I have never felt so humbled by nature.
Where would you love to travel next?
Machu Picchu has been on my list for a long time now. I was always enthralled by Incan history growing up and I love the outdoors. The incredible landscape and the rich history are what draws me initially but I also have the goal of visiting all of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
