The 26 rooms stretch out across the sprawling grounds of the farm. Some are housed within the two traditional farmhouse buildings or “finca”, with others in converted stone barns that are over 140 years old. There is a focus on the natural world here, with two outdoor pools, a multitude of private areas for relaxing dotted across the estate, and a clifftop Jacuzzi with far-reaching Mediterranean views. Guests have exclusive access, via hand-carved steps down the sandstone cliff, to a rocky cove where you can swim in the sea or bathe in a natural stone pool formed on top of the rocks.

Can Simoneta Spa offers the option to indulge in a massage underneath the coastal pine trees or in the hotel’s dedicated treatment rooms. It also offers a steam room and Scandinavian style wooden sauna cabins. The hotel restaurant creates a Mediterranean-Mexican fusion cuisine, which you can enjoy on terraces reaching out towards the sea.

A ten-minute walk from the coastal town of Canyamel with its sandy beach and proliferation of laid-back luxury boutiques, Can Simoneta is secluded yet connected. Guests are welcome to enjoy the sandy beach and restaurant options of its sister property, Pleta de Mar, a five-minute walk away, and there are plenty of opportunities for golf with four courses nearby.
