The enormous Titanic Hotel is located in a 19th-century rum and tobacco warehouse and the historic building’s exposed brick walls and vaulted ceilings ooze character. The sophisticated, industrial-chic decor throughout the property alludes to the Titanic. Design elements in the large lobby and lounge include a model of the Titanic and signage promoting Liverpool’s White Star Line, proprietors of the ship.
These characterful design elements and ship motifs continue through to the sleek Rum Bar and Stanley’s Bar & Grill, both of which offer outdoor seating overlooking the canal. The ship references continue upstairs to the large guest rooms. All rooms feature minimalist, white bedding accented by splashes of yellow. Modern hotel amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and a well-equipped wellness spa with a hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna and several treatment rooms.
The hotel is situated in the docklands, slightly out of the city center. It takes just under ten minutes by car to reach the central areas of Albert Dock and William Brown Street.
We love the Titanic Hotel’s blend of contemporary design and rustic former warehouse elements. We recommend this hotel for those that do not want to be in the hustle and bustle of downtown Liverpool.
