This grand former hospital building sits on a hill overlooking Glencoe Village and Loch Leven and offers a very private experience. Each of the seven suites within the main building has a series of its own separate rooms, including a living and dining area, individually furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Dinner is served in your suite, which has its own well-stocked honesty bar. In addition, the six Bell Tower suites each have their own outdoor terrace with a hot tub, kitchen with a range and fully stocked freezer with pre-prepared gourmet meals.
Glencoe House is situated within the Stac a’Chlamhain woods, beneath the Pap of Glencoe, so there are plenty of walking opportunities directly from the hotel.
This is a beautifully furnished hotel with an original dining concept, creating a private experience in a spectacular setting.

Rooms
The main house has seven suites, each different in size and design. There are one and two-bedroom suites, and each has a series of separate rooms including a lounge and dining area. All suites are fitted to a high standard, with period furnishings but modern standards of comfort. Suites have their own honesty bar, plus a TV and a small library of DVDs and games. Additionally, the Bell Tower suites have a kitchen with a range and a fully stocked freezer containing homemade dishes. They also each have their own walled garden with a private hot tub.
Location
In the heart of the Glencoe Valley in the West Highlands lies Glencoe Village. Above this sits Glencoe House, just a two- to three-minute drive away from the main street. The hotel is situated within woodland at the foot of the Pap of Glencoe mountain, and several trails from the hotel explore the surrounding woods, Glencoe Lochan forest and hillsides. It’s around a half an hour drive to Fort William.
Food and drink
Dinner on the first night is a five-course fine-dining menu. It’s served in your suite if you’re staying in the main building, or in the hotel’s small lounge if you’re staying in a Bell Tower suite. Breakfast and any subsequent meals are served in your suite. Menus are created for you personally following a talk with the chef about your preferences on the day.
Facilities and activities
Although the hotel itself doesn’t have any particular facilities, staff can help you book a number of outdoor activities in the surrounding area. Hidden corners contain comfortable seating and a chessboard, as well as bookshelves laden with novels, local history tomes and reference books. Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the hotel.
