Built in 1765 as a family home, the Kingsmills Hotel has developed over the years into a large, thriving hotel on the outskirts of Inverness. Its 147 rooms are furnished to a high standard, with the contemporary decor incorporating purples, grays and tartans throughout to reflect Scottish heritage and the landscape.
Within the substantial garden and grounds are the hotel’s garden rooms as well as a large spa and leisure club. The hotel’s two restaurants serve excellent Scottish cuisine and the whisky bar boasts an impressive array of whiskies, as well as serving a casual all-day menu.
We love the Kingsmills Hotel for its excellent facilities and great location, just a 20-minute walk into Inverness, yet ideal for exploring nearby Culloden or the Cairngorms.
