Garden of the Gods Club & Resort

Colorado Springs, The US

Set just outside Colorado Springs’ Garden of the Gods public park, this resort offers superb views of the red rock formations surrounding it, from sheer-faced cliffs and craggy towers to balancing rocks. Rooms and suites make the most of these vistas through their full-length windows and furnished balconies, while the large outdoor infinity pool looks directly out over rocks that have been chiseled and eroded for millions of years.

The property's relaxed atmosphere and excellent range of amenities make it easy to unwind, whether you wish to indulge in a spa treatment, cool off in one of the two swimming pools, play a game of tennis or enjoy a leisurely round of golf on the 27-hole course amid pine trees and a mountainous backdrop.

Despite its plush, contemporary feel, the resort's history actually spans back to the 1950s. Over the years the club has hosted the likes of Walt Disney and John Wayne. Today the property maintains its air of exclusivity while offering a laid-back environment for families and couples alike.
