This full day cruise takes you through the remote and very beautiful Prince William Sound, past cascading waterfalls and glacier-carved fjords.
Of the many highlights you can expect, a visit to the massive floating icebergs of the Columbia Glacier, one of the largest tidewater glaciers in south-central Alaska, is truly a thrilling experience. The cruise also visits Meares Glacier, a huge wall of ice where it is possible to see large chunks of ice calving into the water below.
Wildlife is abundant in this area and sightings of orca and humpback whales, seals, sea otters and seabirds are common. The on-board naturalist provides interesting commentary on the many features of the region including an insight into the Exxon Valdez disaster.
